Worried about passing your upcoming bar exam? It’s time to stop worrying and start focusing on a positive solution. The Uniform Bar Exam (UBE), or any bar exam, is not to be feared—it is to be respected. Then, with a plan in place, it is to be conquered. The Confidence to Pass the Bar Exam breaks down all the major components of the UBE and provides explanations, strategies, and examples to help you earn more points on each one—the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), and the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE). The Uniform Bar Exam has been already adopted by thirteen states and most others have incorporated at least one of the above sections into their own bar exam. In addition to covering the entire UBE, this book offers general study tips and advice on how to get the most out of any bar review course. This book was written by experienced attorney and university professor Richard N. Jeffries. When he started studying for the UBE last year, he hadn’t taken a bar exam in over three decades, but he recognized one key principle: “Know Thyself” as set forth by Socrates over 2000 years ago. That principle, along with the methods and skills he learned over months of research and study, formed a solid foundation that allowed him to pass his exam. For less than $10, you can have those same tools at your disposal and a much needed edge on exam day. While not a substitute for the many excellent bar review courses out there, The Confidence to Pass the Bar Exam provides valuable tips, suggestions, and techniques that your review course may not cover. Passing the bar exam is about confidence, proper preparation, knowing the exam, and grabbing points wherever and however you can to get that minimum passing score. If this inexpensive book provides you with even a few tips to help get that extra point or two needed to pass on exam day, it is well worth it. Prepare for your bar exam with confidence. Take your bar exam with confidence. Pass your bar exam with confidence.. Here are the detailed information about The Confidence to Pass the Bar Exam: Study Tips for the Uniform Bar Exam and Any Bar Exam as your reference.

2L opinion - 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.2L opinion By Ojas Vaidya I have not taken the Bar Exam yet, but I had this professor for my civil procedure/ torts class and he assigned this book for our class. It is easy to understand, and should be read by everyone even if you have not taken all of the required subjects for the bar exam. I plan on reviewing this book prior to my Bar Exam class.
Great Confidence Builder - 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Great Confidence Builder By Francesco A Paradiso I'm sure I speak for many when I state that studying for the Uniform Bar exam is very stressful. There is so much information to study that one does not know where to begin or how to deal with it. Todays Bar review courses provide plenty of study material but the problem is we only have two months to study for the exam which creates more anxiety. Professor Jeffries, who has not written a Bar exam in decades puts everything into perspective and makes you realize that you don't have to do everything in the Bar review courses, just do what has always worked for you as a student and most of all stay confident. My confidence level greatly improved after reading the book and now I'm just waiting to get the Bar exam over with. Unfortunately I'll have two more to write after this one.
Excellent advice in a concise easy read - 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.Excellent advice in a concise easy read By sarah nilsson In a very stressful time right now with two weeks to go to the bar exam, when, over a cup of coffee, I had the pleasure of meeting with the author of this extremely helpful book. I really recommend this e-book to fellow bar sitters primarily because it is an easy read yet crammed full of very helpful tips and confidence-boosting advice.Notwithstanding the fact that I do not own a kindle, I was still able to download to my macbook and within two hours I felt a sense of relief. The author brings into the book, decades of wisdom as a seasoned attorney, yet views the bar exam with the same eyes as myself, a novice to the bar testing environment. Then, as if to add to the benefit of the book, he analyzed the same MPT as the one I took in practice (the Franklin Newspaper one). This helped me compare my work to his and gain even more insight.I am grateful for this advice. The bar exam is not as daunting as people make it out to be. Not that it is easy, mind you, but it is doable. I shall heed his advice, focus "on my instruments" and in two weeks' time sit down with the confidence that I did the best I could and used all the tools available to me.
