Fantastic tools and inspiration, whether you are an attorney or not - 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.Fantastic tools and inspiration, whether you are an attorney or not By Meredith Kim Benjamin is a fantastic coach and inspiration. I can't wait to see fiction she writes! This contains actionable tools that are realistic to an attorney's life and schedule. The majority of it is a realistic look at what keeps us from being creatively vulnerable and how to make a change. Great for any professional who has a creative side.

It is a great combination of encouragement, humor, and strategy. The exercises are practical and easy to implement as they get you moving forward every day. Her personable writing style makes you feel like you are engaged in a conversation more than reading a book, which becomes important when you are are moving out of your comfort zone and want to know that you're not alone in the feelings that are coming up.
I like this book very much - 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I like this book very much By Jean Marie I like this book very much. I have been "working" on a novel for a few years after thinking about writing a novel for twice as many, after dreaming about writing a novel for three times as many years prior to that... Kim's direction has provided insightful understanding to the underpinnings of my intrinsic dreams and desires and the pitfalls I have created/encountered in this endeavor. This book has arrived in perfectly timed synchronicity as I stand on a crossroad deciding to move forward with my work in progress or give up on it all together. Kim's wisdom has given me space to breathe into my fledgling creation. She has given me new eyes to see the rightness of development, the acceptance of practice and the movement of creating for creation's sake alone. My dreams thank you Kim Benjamin. My characters thank you Kim Benjamin. My muse thanks you Kim Benjamin. You have stated a case for them and convinced the jury of my inner critics that the creative voice within me is valid, honorable and real. I enter into the next phase with a new found respect for my self and my character's selves; and so together we breathe, telling our tales in turn one to another and share the journey of story.
